Introduction
NNF Nyay Neeti Foundation has completed 6 months since its inception. During these 6
months, the litigation wing of the foundation was able to represent more than 1000
individuals through representative petitions as well as individual petitions before the
Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Trial Courts in Delhi and other
tribunals in the capital. The foundation also conducted 3 fact findings along with similar
organizations which are engaged in the upliftment of the marginalised.
As per the evaluation of activities engaged in the past, the foundation has decided to
propose an action plan for the next quarter to expand our activities.
About Us
Nyay Neeti Foundation (NNF) is a non-profit organization registered under section 8 of the
Companies Act, 2013, aiming to provide free and effective legal aid to marginalized and
vulnerable communities through the existing legal system. We are a collective of lawyers
who endeavour to advance the social, economic, and political rights of the citizens by
seeking remedies before various Courts/Tribunals and governments; in addition, we conduct
fact-findings, research, and legal awareness, and train lawyers passionate about human
rights litigation.
Activities
- To disseminate awareness of human rights and Indian constitutional ethos. To enable free and quality legal aid to the marginalized & low-income groups of the country.
- To promote constitutional literacy amongst the citizens.
- To advise and assist civil liberty organizations and governments in reviewing legislation, and policy, and ensuring human rights are upheld.
- To undertake legal action to promote or protect the human rights of the people in need
- To provide legal support to the ground movements in defence of the Constitution of India
- To uphold the Constitution of India
- To provide training to young lawyers, students, researchers or public spirited citizens who are from the Minority, Dalit, Tribal and other deprived communities passionate about working in the defence of constitutional ethos.
- To provide cost-effective legal aid/ opinion to the economically weaker section and low-income groups of society. To conduct research, data collection, and field reports on human rights issues.
- To provide free and effective legal aid to the poor and marginalized undertrials/convicted prisoners
- To conduct policy research on various Socio-Legal issues.
- To help government institutions in the implementation of governmental and other Social-Welfare schemes & Welfare Legislations.
- To publish Digital-Print Fact-Finding/Research reports assisting Legislators in the process of policy-making.

- Efforts will be made to communicate the issue with the governing body/state mechanism.
Fact Finding try and highlight issues faced by marginalised communities in particular unorganized workers, Jhuggi Dwellers, Gig-Workers, Safai-Karmacharis/Rag Pickers, Rikshaw Pullers etc

The foundation shall give internship opportunities for law-social science graduates/ students.

Evaluation
- The directors along with other experts or donors or advisors shall evaluate the action plan after 3 months, including the financial expense.
- During the quarterly analysis, a quarterly report shall be placed before the evaluating committee or such persons.
- A Financial Report (Quarterly) shall be prepared and duly signed by the Chartered Accountant engaged by the foundation.
